[...] AdnanEmin’s Blog, Prison Diary, a new blog from Azerbaijan, has been set up to republish letters sent from prison in the oil-rich former Soviet republic by Adnan Hajizade and Emin Milli, two detained video blogging youth activists sentenced last week and considered by Amnesty International to be prisoners of conscience. The first post carries a message from Milli after his sentence. [...]

Adnan and Emin,
I believe you will continue your fight even though you are in jail. It is easy to be in a free country and shout “support”, “halaldi”, “azadliq”, “sizinleyik” etc. to those who are in jail in not-so-free nation. Since I’m one who is in free nation, I’m not going to be rhetoric. But I know from my personal experience how one feels when one is in trouble and trouble, problem, situation or whatever you call it is utterly unjust.
So I want to say that I feel your troubled soul, sleepless nights, and passionate attempts to avoid discouragement.
Mənim bacardığım, bu anda əlimdən gələn, sizi dualarımda xatırlamaq və Tanrının sizi azadlığa çıxarması üçün Ona ehtirasla dua etməkdi. Bu, əlbəttə ciddi görülməyə bilər. Ancaq nə etməli? Mən sizinlə çiyin-çiyinə savaş vermək üçün gerçəkliyə qarşı gərəkdiyindən çox sarkastik, gerçəklikdə hər şeyə etinasız yanaşmaq üçün isə lazım olmayan qədər inanan birisiyəm.
Bir zaman sizlərlə azadlıqda görüşmək ümidilə.
Adnan&Emin,
